The capacity can be increased without the need of a special cage nor a GS (long cage). Also, there’s no need to add links to the chain. Thus, you can cut down on unnecessary spending and time. *Please determine the correct chain length according to Shimano instructions.
①Swing Eccentric Mechanism
As the axle is fixed eccentrically, the pulley resonates with the motion of the rear derailleur and adjusts its position to cassette cogs automatically. So, shifting is just as accurate as it is with the original pulley.
②Rotational resistance
The bigger pulleys require less rotation and won’t bend the chain as much. So, the chain can run with less friction. Thus, the ceramic bearing can fully exhibit its performance.
③Friction resistance (S3 coating)
S3 combines high hardness with super low friction coefficient which is less than half that of the titanium coating.　It realizes super smooth disengagement with the chain and suppresses general noises occurring due to the running of the chain on metal pulleys

*Use only “neutral” cleaning agents for Super Series (S3 finish). Liquids and others which contain acid or alkali will harm finished surface and can cause malfunction to the product.
